It's true-the mercury hovered around 50 below in West Yellowstone, Montana on January 13th. But, just like any other day, Buffalo Field Campaign staff and volunteers were on the job-monitoring, documenting, educating, and advocating for America's last free-roaming, wild bison.

Why do we do it? That's simple: It's the right thing to do for this majestic American icon. You've told us so over and over with your generous and good-hearted moral and financial support. How can we ever adequately say thank you?

We'll start with this heart-felt pledge: BFC will continue working to end the persecution and slaughter of Yellowstone's wild bison; we'll continue our relentless effort toward the protection and habitat necessary to welcome them home to Montana.

Next, a thank you offer: We'll send a buffalo-themed valentine to the recipient(s) of your choice for a donation at one of two levels. Our smaller cards are copies of a hand-drawn original; each card is hand-colored and embellished. Our larger cards feature a photo of Yellowstone bison; each card is hand-assembled with colorful specialty paper. Both cards contain a brief explanation of BFC's work, plus the sentiment, which reads:
