Letter to Governor Schweitzer, by Ed Millspaugh, 09/07/06

The following is the letter that was mailed to the agencies in the Bison management Team. It was issued in February of 2006.

This letter lists the "protective covenants" for Hebgen Lake Estates. All the agencies are required to abide by the covenants.

Today, September 7, 2006 the Department of Livestock sent men on horses through the subdivision looking for buffalo to chase.

The President of the Homeowners Association asked these men what their intentions were and showed them the letter.

The men said to take it up with their supervisor. They arrogantly continued on their way. They totally ignored the letter of the law. This will not be tolerated and legal action can be taken against the agency and / or the persons involved.

These comments were also sent to the Governors office website.

Perhaps all the agencies in the Buffalo Management Team should be reminded once again that protective covenants are a legal issue and there are consequences for violators. Perhaps they should hear from you. The residents here do not care to fight with the agencies all summer and tolerate their unlawful activities in our neighborhood. We can and will prosecute them for breaking the laws of the land.

Thank you,
Ed Millspaugh
