Multi-media & Fine Art Exhibit
Wild Buffalo in Boulder is a Multi-Media Fine Arts Exhibit that opens this September in Boulder, CO. Home to exhibit co-creators, Buffalo Field Campaign Board President, Justine Sanchez, and Advisory Board Member, Thia Martin, Boulder offers a unique opportunity to spread the word about America’s Last Wild Bison and Our National Mammal.
Our intention with opening the exhibit in Boulder is to Educate the community that Buffalo are more than the University of Colorado, Boulder mascot -- they are Our National Mammal . Most people know that the bald eagle is the United States National Symbol, but many do not know that buffalo are Our National Mammal. The wild, migratory buffalo of Yellowstone are sacred herds whose population is rapidly declining due to government capture for slaughter, quarantine and intensive hazing and harassment. In the 1800’s over 60 million bison roamed free -- today only a few thousand survive.
AND...we know Wild Buffalo need to Roam! This exhibit is meant to travel!
Let’s have Wild Buffalo in Bozeman, Wild Buffalo in Boise, Wild Buffalo in D.C....Wild Buffalo in Every State!
I look forward to hearing from you...Let the Buffalo Roam!
