West Yellowstone, Montana - This year, Montana's controversial hazing of America's last wild buffalo will feature more than the government workers who harass them and the volunteers from Buffalo Field Campaign who work to protect them. On the afternoon of May 15, passersby will be witness to a large-scale art performance aimed at “communicating the injustice of the bison haze, but also the larger injustice of this nation's bloody slaughter against the first Americans and indigenous creatures.”

Location: Highway 191 at Madison River Bridge
Time: May 15, 2013 between 3:00 and 5:00PM

Buffalo Field Campaign (BFC) is the only group working in the field, everyday, to stop the slaughter and harassment of Yellowstone's wild buffalo. Volunteers from around the world defend buffalo on their traditional winter habitat and advocate for their protection. Our daily patrols stand with the buffalo on the ground they choose to be on, and document every move made against them.
