On June 18th, a Yellowstone ranger spotted a bull buffalo laying on the side of the road near Dunraven Pass. The ranger watched the bull, noticing that he was very weak and thin, and when he tried to rise he would stumble and fall. The ranger also noticed that the bull had what looked to be an infected gunshot wound.

Buffalo Field Campaign is seeking a full-time coordinator and volunteers for our summer outreach program.
Volunteers get to spend five days a week camping in beautiful Yellowstone National Park. You'll spend your days enjoying all that the landscape has to offer, from relaxing in the Boiling River, to watching a mama black bear with her cubs.
Organized by BFC campaign seasons, which follow buffalo migration patterns each winter.
